Ancient Tree

At the end of the world, there is a secret mountain. On top of that mountain stands the most ancient tree in all of time. Legend has it that when you go to that tree, you will find a small hole in its gnarled trunk. It is the ear of the tree, ready to listen to your deepest and most private thoughts. When you whisper your secrets to the tree, the tree will keep the secret hidden in its ancient roots that burry deep into the center of the mountain. You leave your darkest thoughts behind and take the long walk back home, feeling unusually light and free. And then you will smile---really smile---for what you will realize has been a long time.

"Now cracks a noble heart. Good night, sweet prince.
And flights of angels sing thee to thy rest."

-William Shakespeare, Hamlet
